The prairie dogs will be coming out of their dens to watch the annual Prairie Dog Fly-In at McMahon-Wrinkle Airport. About one hundred aircraft are expected to fly in from all over the Permian Basin, including Snyder, Lubbock, San Angelo and Midland/Odessa. The event provides an opportunity for the community to come out and see vintage and general aviation planes. A pancake, sausage and bacon breakfast will be provided free of charge for those flying in and made available for all other guests for a minimal cost.
Parking will be on the west side of the air park terminal. For more information, call the air park at 264-2362 or visit www.prairiedogflyin.com.
