The City of Big Spring Fire Department is a Civil Service organization governed by the Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 143. All applicants seeking an entry-level position must successfully complete the entire hiring process as necessary to maintain a hiring eligibility list.   An outline of the hiring process is available on the Fire Department Employment Opportunities page.
