City to Close Offices for New Year Holiday

City of Big Spring offices will be closed on Friday, December 31st, 2021, in observance of the New Year holiday. There will be no sanitation pickup on Friday, December 31st. Thursday’s normal sanitation routes will be picked up on Wednesday, December 29th. Friday’s normal sanitation routes will be picked up on Thursday, December 30th.

The City Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 31st and Saturday, January 1st. All City offices and the Landfill will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022.

Emergency services (Police, Fire, and EMS) will continue normal operations during the holiday. The Emergency Utilities Department will also be available and can be reached by calling 432-264-2392.
