City to Close Offices for Christmas Holiday 

City of Big Spring offices will be closed on Thursday, December 23rd and Friday, December 24th, 2021, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

There will be no sanitation pickup on Friday, December 24th.  Thursday’s normal sanitation routes will be picked up on Wednesday, December 22nd. Friday’s normal sanitation routes will be picked up on Thursday, December 23rd.   

The City Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 24th and Saturday, December 25th.  All City offices and the Landfill will reopen on Monday, December 27th, 2021.

Emergency services (Police, Fire, and EMS) will continue normal operations during the holiday.  The Emergency Utilities Department will also be available and can be reached by calling 432-264-2392.
