Re:  Water Outage 

The City of Big Spring scheduled three 20” valve replacements on Monday, April 30, 2019.  On Friday, April 26, 2019, a Public Service Announcement was sent out to local media outlets and posted on the City website to inform the public of this project that we anticipated would take up to four (4) days to complete.  

Due to the complexity of the City’s water system, the project encountered unforeseen complications that resulted in water outage on the west side of town.  The three valves have been replaced as of this morning, and we anticipate water service being restored by this evening.  We apologize for the inconvenience to our residents.
