The 22nd Annual Pops in the Park to be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, is quickly approaching! The mission of Pops in the Park is to give back to those who have served our country and pay tribute to them for their selfless sacrifice as well as the sacrifices of their families. Pops in the Park combines a family-friendly atmosphere in the historic and beautiful Comanche Trail Amphitheater with world-class music provided by our pre-show entertainment followed by the music of the Big Spring Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. We cap off the event with a spectacular display of choreographed fireworks from one of the nation’s leaders in pyrotechnics.
Pops in the Park is held in the Comanche Trail Amphitheater and the gates will open at 5:00 PM on July 3rd. The pre-show this year will be Eddie Austin and The Texas Silhouettes beginning at 6:00 PM. The Presentation of Colors, salute to Armed Forces, and retiring of the colors will follow the pre-show. There will also be a video tribute honoring the local men and women who have served our country. The finale of the event is an amazing fireworks display accompanied by the Big Spring Symphony and Chorus.
