The Run2LOVE2Run is a fun 5k Valentine themed run!!  The beginning of the year comes with many New Year resolutions. A common resolution made during this time of year is to drop a few pounds that may have accumulated over the holidays.  If your desire is to be more active this year, or just to maintain your current fitness level here’s an opportunity coming your way.

Permian Basin Events is an organization that loves fitness and helping others get fit.  In addition to this, they also raise money for worthy causes.  The 5K event Run2Love2Run will be on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 10 AM. Participants will begin the race at Park Headquarters at the top of the Big Spring State Park.  Awards will be given for the top three male, female, and couples categories will be given out as well as best Valentine themed costume (G ratings please, this is a family friendly event).  It should be noted that couples must cross the finish line together in order to place.  Walkers are welcome too! 

This year’s 8th annual Run2Love2Run event will benefit CASA of West Texas. Registration for the race is available at permianbasinevents.com.

Event details and schedule

On site Registration:  $35 individual (Early $20); $65 couples (Early $35).  Registration closes at 9:00 AM. (cash or check only).  Parking is available by the summit playground.  The front fate will be closed at 9:45 AM.
