Senior Center

Mission

Our mission at the Big Spring Senior Center is to provide, develop and oversee programs relating to senior adult issues.  We provide volunteer experiences, address health education, nutrition, health and other information that will enrich and help prolong independent living among our senior population.

The Big Spring Senior Center invites you to join us at the center to enjoy the many activities we have planned for you.  The Center offers a variety of weekly leisure activities and monthly programs for senior adults ages 50+.

**The Senior Center is open for congregate meals, but we are still offering to go meals also.  Please call the Senior Center at 432-267-1628 if you plan to join us for lunch or want to pick up a meal to go. **

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Games - Bridge, dominoes, puzzles, cribbage, pinochle, and more.  Bingo every Tuesday and Thursday after lunch.

Special Events - Dances on the first Fridays of the month, annual Health and Information Fair, and many more seasonal luncheons and programs.

Health and Wellness Programs - Monthly Health Focus classes, free blood pressure checks weekly, monthly presentations and periodic screenings.

Lunch - Our fully equipped kitchen provides healthy, low cost lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM, Monday through Friday.
