Mission Statement
Our mission is to help the City of Big Spring departments attract, motivate, and develop qualified, diverse and productive employees.
The Human Resources department delivers quality information services to City of Big Spring employees and the community. The information we compile through our resources allows our departments the opportunity for excellent decision making. Our commitment is to provide support services in a professional and efficient manner to achieve high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
The Human Resources department provides recruitment, new employee orientation, job classification, benefits management, payroll processing, and maintains personnel files for all city employees. The department also conducts safety programs to increase awareness of potential workplace hazards.
