City of Big Spring offices will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022, and Monday, December 26, 2022, in observance of the Christmas holiday.  There will be no sanitation pickup on Monday, December 26th. Monday’s trash will be picked up on Tuesday; Tuesday’s trash will be picked up on Wednesday. 

The City Landfill will be open on Friday, December 23rd for normal operating hours. The landfill will be closed on Saturday, December 24th and Monday, December 26th. All City offices and the Landfill will reopen on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022.

Emergency services (Police, Fire, and EMS) will continue normal operations during the holiday. The Emergency Utilities Department will also be available and can be reached by calling 432-264-2392.
