Mission


Our mission at the Big Spring Senior Center is to provide, develop and oversee programs relating to senior adult issues.  We provide volunteer experiences, address health education, nutrition, health and other information that will enrich and help prolong independent living among our senior population.

The Big Spring Senior Center invites you to join us at the center to enjoy the many activities we have planned for you.  The Center offers a variety of weekly leisure activities and monthly programs for senior adults ages 50+.

**For the health and safety of our patrons, the Big Spring Senior Center is currently closed for congregate meals, but senior citizens can pick up to go meals.  Please call the Senior Center at 432-267-1628 for more information.  We apologize for any inconvenience.**

 ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Games - Bridge, dominoes, puzzles, cribbage, pinochle, and more.  Bingo every Tuesday and Thursday after lunch.

Special Events - Dances two Fridays a month, annual Health and Information Fair, and many more seasonal luncheons and programs.

Health and Wellness Programs - Monthly Health Focus classes, free blood pressure checks weekly, monthly presentations and periodic screenings.

Lunch - Our fully equipped kitchen provides healthy, low cost lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM, Monday through Friday.
